New and Used Items

Jax Neighborhood Store and Notary are accepting used computers. If you own a computer and would like to sell it -- we are the ones to see.

Here is how this works:

You bring in the computer along with a reciept or something to verify that you actually own the computer.
We look at it and make sure that you are selling it at a realistic price. (yes they make a *blue book* for computers)
We make sure that the computer is in good working order, and we sell it for you.
Once the computer is sold, we take out $50.00 for our end of the bargin, and you get the rest of the money pure and simple.

Local Businesses

With so many of the large businesses closing down, we need to remember to visit our local neighborhood stores.

I can remember being young (that was a while ago) and walking down to the corner shops, buying candy, looking at the glass in the nick-nack shopes, and visiting second hand stores for treasures. Things have not really changed. We still have those mom and pop stores, but we have forgotten about them as we jump in the car to drive to the nearest this mart or that mart.

Let's make our neighborhood shops our destination when we take our morning or evening walks. Put down the remote and get some fresh air while window shopping in your own neighborhood. Wave at a few people, say hi to the folks that you see. It will put a smile on your face, and a few inches off your---butt--and make others happy just to see their neighbors again. (anyone want to organize an evening walk?? I'll bet there are alot of you that would like to walk as a group. Contact us, we can put that into motion.
